Chocolate Cranberry Cheesecake Swirl Brownies

These Chocolate Cranberry Cheesecake Swirl Brownies are where indulgence meets elegance. Fudgy chocolate layers blend beautifully with creamy cheesecake and a swirl of bright cranberry sauce for a dessert thatβs both stunning and irresistibly delicious. The tartness of the cranberries perfectly balances the sweetness of the chocolate and the tang of the cream cheese, creating a truly special treat.

Ingredients:
Brownie batter:
- ΒΎ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Β½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ΒΎ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ΒΎ cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- ΒΌ teaspoon salt
- Β½ cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra richness)
Cheesecake swirl:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ΒΌ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- Β½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Cranberry swirl:
- Β½ cup cranberry sauce (use my homemade recipe – eighter: smooth or slightly chunky)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy lifting.
- Make the brownie batter: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, both sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using. (You can use a store-bought Brownie mix if you like, but my recipe is better).

- Prepare the cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Layer and swirl: Option 1: Spread about two-thirds of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan. Gently spoon the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer. Add small dollops of cranberry sauce and the remaining brownie batter over top. Use a butter knife to swirl the layers together for a marbled effect. Option2: Use all the batter for the bottom layer, use all the cheesecake mixture for the 2nd layer, and add small dollops of cranberry sauce on top of. Use a butter knife to swirl the cheesecake layer and cranberry sauce together for a marbled effect.

- Bake for 35β45 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing. For clean cuts, chill the brownies for 1β2 hours first.

Serving Ideas
Serve these brownies as-is for a gorgeous dessert or warm slightly and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra-luxurious touch.
