🧀 Buffalo Chicken Dip (Game Day Favorite)

Creamy, cheesy, and packed with bold buffalo flavor, this Buffalo Chicken Dip is a Super Bowl party classic for a reason. Made with tender shredded chicken, tangy buffalo sauce, and melted cheese, it’s easy to prepare and always the first dish to disappear on game day. Serve it hot with chips, crackers, or veggies for the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional garnish: chopped green onions or parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish. - Mix the dip:
In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch (or blue cheese). Mix until smooth. - Add chicken & cheese:
Stir in shredded chicken and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. - Bake:
Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly. - Serve:
Garnish with green onions or parsley and serve warm.

Tips & Tricks
- Adjust the heat: Use more or less buffalo sauce to suit your crowd.
- Extra creamy: Add an extra tablespoon of ranch for a smoother dip.
- Slow cooker option: Heat on LOW for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.

Crock Pot / Slow Cooker Method:
- Combine ingredients:
Place cream cheese, chicken, dressing and buffalo wing sauce (and optional shredded cheeses) in a small crock pot (2–3 qt size). Stir to combine. - Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or HIGH for 1–1.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until bubbly and hot. - Top & Serve:
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and keep warm on LOW until ready to serve. Serve with chips, crackers, or toasted bread.
