🛠️ Troubleshooting Box – Grinch-Inspired Kabobs
Grapes keep sliding off the skewer
➡️ Make sure grapes are dry before threading. Push them snugly together so they hold the marshmallow in place.
Strawberries won’t stay on top
➡️ Cut a small flat spot on the bottom so they sit securely on the marshmallow.
Fruit looks watery after chilling
➡️ Pat fruit very dry before assembling and store loosely covered with paper towel to absorb moisture.
Skewers poke through the strawberry
➡️ Use shorter skewers or blunt lollipop sticks for kids.
Kabobs browning or drying out
➡️ Assemble no more than 12–24 hours ahead and keep tightly covered in the fridge.
Too sweet for some guests?
➡️ Skip the marshmallow or use mini ones and add extra grapes for a fresher snack.
Need to transport?
➡️ Lay kabobs in a single layer in a container lined with parchment to keep hearts intact.
